Statistics from the Hebei Development and Reform Commission suggested that from January to July, Hebei province reported 715.48 billion yuan ($107.25 billion) in key project investment, among which investment in key construction projects accounted for 201.8 billion yuan, 64.8 percent of the annual target. About 95.3 percent of the projects have already been launched.

To boost construction on key projects, the provincial government has rolled out eight policies to stabilize investment, as well as 14 related fiscal policies, which have effectively accelerated the construction of infrastructure and intelligent transformation, among other things.

Hebei boasts more than 30,000 registered projects worth 5 million yuan or more. Shijiazhuang, Tangshan, Handan, Xiongan New Area and many other places in the province hold quarterly project commencement ceremonies.

Over the first seven months of 2022, a total of 35 project launch ceremonies were held, involving an investment of 1.93 trillion yuan.
