With a total floorage of 53,128 square meters, Hebei Museum is a landmark building in Shijiazhuang, capital of North China's Hebei province.

The museum consists of two parts: the northern area founded in 1968 and the southern area founded in 2013.

Hebei Museum relies on its outstanding collections to present nine permanent exhibitions ranging from the Stone Age to the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45).

Through about 5,000 exquisite cultural relics and modernized displays, the museum records human history from two million years ago until present.

It also organizes several temporary exhibitions each year, focusing on history, culture and art, science and technology, local customs and modern politics.
